Lorraine Chase opens in Edinburgh Festival Fringe (July 25, 2010)
My good friend Lorraine Chase will be appearing at this year’s Edinburgh Festival.
Lorraine will be appearing with Mike Burns, in An Evening with Elsie Parsons, written by Richard Cameron and directed by Martin Harvey, which runs from 9 – 28 August at a new venue for the Edinburgh Fringe, The Dome, George Street. The play’s description says: An established psychic medium introduces his protégé. Invoking their various spirit guides – famous and anonymous – they bring messages from the dead and lessons for the living in an evening of mystical entertainment. Usually. This night things don’t quite go as planned. Unexpected visitors from across the great divide bring memories of events long buried and a reckoning is demanded. It sounds intriguing, and I know Lorraine is excited about appearing at the Festival. If you are going to Edinburgh, do see if you can catch a performance. I’ve appeared with Lorraine several times and she’s tremendous fun. Here’s where you can find more information about An Evening with Elsie Parsons, and here’s where you can book tickets.
